The Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic House Museums are a leading authority on historic preservation in the French Quarter. Our houses offer tours for school groups K-12 and are designed using the highest Louisiana standards for Social Studies, Science, and Math. Our programming for schools is entertaining and interactive while maintaining a strong educational foundation. Educators also have the opportunity to tailor a tour to the specific needs of their students.

Our historic house museums are 19th-century French Quarter properties and National Historic Landmarks, offering a narrative of historic architecture and Creole lifestyles. The Woman’s Exchange, our museums’ non-profit parent organization, was founded in 1881 and today, continues to support its mission of education and preservation by providing school programs to diverse audiences.

School Groups (10 or more people) are welcome at both the Hermann-Grima House (can accommodate 60 people per hour) and the Gallier House (can accommodate up to 45 people per hour)

Student admission is $5 per student for one museum and $8 per student for both museums.

Schools are allowed one (1) free adult admission per ten students. Any chaperones over that number are charged $12 for one museum and $20 for both museums.
