The Woman’s Exchange

*The Woman’s Exchange has a long and proud history of caring for New Orleans, first for women whose lives were in jeopardy and now for the care of two historic houses whose futures, sadly, are also in peril. In 1996, The Woman’s Exchange became the guardians of both the Hermann-Grima House and the Gallier House and were entrusted with their preservation. Over the years, members of The Woman’s Exchange have contributed and raised the resources necessary to ensure that these two historic landmark homes remained shining examples of the glory days in which they were built.

In order to preserve these National Historic Landmarks for future generations, The Woman’s Exchange launched a $1.4 million Campaign to Restore the Hermann-Grima and Gallier Houses. We hope you will join us as we raise the funds for this important preservation project.
