Gallier Gatherings

Gallier Gatherings, our popular monthly speaker series, features lectures by locals and nationally-known experts with a focus on historical connections to the Houses, modern day New Orleans, and beyond.  Our Gatherings bring together diverse participants and audiences with dynamic and engaging topics.  Join us on the second Wednesday of each month from 6PM – 7:30PM for a Gallier Gathering.  Lectures rotate between virtual and in-person events.  Check our EVENT CALENDAR for a complete listing of upcoming Gallier Gathering topics and speakers, and to register.

2026 Harmony at Hermann-Grima Gala

For over thirty years, Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses has celebrated Wine Fête (formerly Amazing Grapes) now known as Harmony at Hermann-Grima Gala as a premiere New Orleans event to support museum educational programming for youth and adults.

This year on March 13th Harmony at Hermann-Grima Gala was held in the historic Hermann-Grima Courtyard. Our Patron Party began at 6:00pm and Main Event kicked off at 7:30pm. This fundraising event directly supports the historic preservation of our nineteenth-century properties and care of the museum collection, which includes decorative arts, original artwork, and important architectural elements. Guests enjoyed a robust silent auction, curated libations, and a wide array of New Orleans’ favorite foods and restaurants, complemented by live entertainment throughout the evening and the stunning ambiance of our twinkling courtyard.

Historic Houses Society

Every fall Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses honors our most generous supporters with a reception and dinner at a local historic home celebrating the Circle Level members of the Historic Houses Society.  Joining the Historic Houses Society ensures the continued vitality of our organization and supports our mission of preserving New Orleans’ architectural and cultural heritage for future generations. It also funds our growing array of important exhibitions and educational programming at our National Historic Landmark properties.
