GiveNOLA Day

  • Hermann-Grima House 820 St. Louis Street New Orleans, LA 70112 (map)

GiveNOLA Day is a 24-hour event hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation to inspire people to give generously to nonprofits making our region stronger, creating a thriving community for all.

This GiveNOLA Day we urgently ask for your support to help us repair and replace parts for the generator at Hermann-Grima House, which is vital to our emergency preparedness. The generator has played a tremendous role in mitigating damage to the historic house and collection during power outages in the French Quarter and hurricanes, including destructive Hurricane Ida in 2021. It’s imperative that we complete repairs prior to the start of the upcoming hurricane season.

GiveNOLA Day’s early giving period is open from April 23rd until May 6th, and scheduled donations will count toward this important day of giving. You can also donate in real time on the official GiveNOLA Day, which is Tuesday, May 7th, 2023. The giving portal officially closes at 11:59:59 PM CST that night.
