Join us for an evening of conversation and wine in person at Gallier House!
Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses (HGGHH) is excited to host an evening of conversation and wine as part of our Gallier Gathering series! At our October 9th event, registered guests will meet to discuss the 2022 book, Necropolis: Disease, Power, and Capitalism in the Cotton Kingdom, by Kathryn Olivarius, historian of slavery, medicine, and disease.
Tickets for the discussion night include a free copy of the book (while supplies last). After you complete the purchase of your tickets, you will be contacted by an HGGHH staff person with instructions on when and where you can pick up your book.
The discussion will be led by HGGHH Director of Educational Programming, Dr. Amy Katherine Medvick.
