Join us for the Creole Death and Mourning exhibition at Gallier House. Tour the historic Victorian-era townhome in mourning and learn about a time-period when death and the macabre were pervasive. For Catholic Creoles in New Orleans, mourning rituals were a sincere effort to remember departed relatives and friends that was an integral part of 19th-century life. This one-hour guided tour runs September 3rd through November 24, 2025.
