Courtyard Camp: A Week in the Life of Nineteenth Century New Orleans

What was life like in nineteenth century New Orleans? Our unique summer camp for kids connects the past to the present through engaging activities and immersive learning! Each week-long summer camp session explores New Orleans’ history through games, projects, and crafts. Kids won’t realize they’re learning because they’ll be having too much fun going on scavenger hunts, visiting other French Quarter museums, meeting museum staff, working on their green thumbs, playing games, and picking up culinary skills in our historic kitchen. Campers ages 7-12 will gain an understanding of the past during their time at our two National Historic Landmark properties.
