The Historic Houses Society Gala takes place every fall to honor our top museum members and preservation-minded patrons. This year, gala chairs Elizabeth Bush and Betsey Todd invite you to celebrate Honorary Chair Ethel Bush Clay and her contributions as President of The Woman’s Exchange and years of service to HGGHH. The gala will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the beautiful Garden District home of Erika and Ted Elliot.
Your support is vital to the preservation and celebration of these two National Historic Landmarks, which significantly contribute to New Orleans' cultural tourism and historical preservation on both local and national levels.
As a member, you will enjoy:
Access to the Historic Houses Society Gala
Complimentary admission to both Hermann-Grima House and Gallier House
A private after-hours tour and wine reception in the courtyard of either Hermann-Grima House or Gallier House (*transferable to friends or family)
Free admission to over 1,000 museums in the North American Reciprocal Museums program (find museums in your area)
Membership levels range from the Preservation Circle at $1,000 to the Director’s Circle at $10,000, each including an invitation for two to the Gala on November 14, 2024. To be featured in this year’s Gala invitation, please join the Historic Houses Society by September 13, 2024.
