Experience authentic Creole cooking at the Hermann-Grima House! Our historic house holds the only 19th-century open hearth kitchen still in operation in the area. Watch and learn as our docents use authentic recipes, tools, and methods of cooking on the open flame in the hearth, potager (stew holes), and beehive oven. Demonstrations are available on tours only.
