Experience authentic Creole cooking at the Hermann-Grima House! Our historic house holds the only 19th-century open hearth kitchen still in operation in the area. Watch and learn as our docents use authentic recipes, tools, and methods of cooking on the open flame in the hearth, potager (stew holes), and beehive oven.
This feature is available on guided tours only, which are offered on the hours of 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm during Fridays in April, excluding April 2nd.
