Experience authentic Creole cooking at the Hermann-Grima House! The historic house and slave quarters includes the only 19th-century open hearth kitchen still in operation in the area. Watch and learn as docents use authentic recipes, tools, and methods of cooking on the open flame in the hearth, potager (stew holes), and beehive oven. Demonstrations are available as a $5 add-on to guided tours only. FREE for museum members!
