Join us for a late afternoon happy hour at The Exchange Shop, a hidden gem in the French Quarter! This historic shop operates as both the gift shop for the famous Hermann-Grima House museum and independently as a shop supporting local women since 1881. Enjoy specialty cocktails from El Guapo Bitters made on site while you shop for Mother's Day or someone special in your life (yourself included)! Entrance at the door will be $10.
Located in one of the few remaining 19th-century French Quarter stable buildings, The Exchange Shop follows the long tradition of Woman’s Exchanges across the country and represents a number of Louisiana women and non-binary artists and vendors. The Exchange Shop offers locally designed and produced artisanal goods including home decor, soaps, textiles, toys, books, culinary specialties, and logo merchandise. The Woman’s Exchange of New Orleans, established in 1881, remains one of the oldest women’s nonprofits in the South.
